Thanks to this mobile unit, the Eure department works for the early detection of breast cancer in women.
This vehicle reinforce the mobile screening unit already present in the department of Orne. It thus enables Normandie to strengthen screening in order to reduce the risks of developing serious forms of cancer and heavy treatments by detecting the presence of the disease as early as possible. It is therefore an original and easy-to-access solution that preserves the physical and psychological health of patients.
A reassuring environment that encourages screening
The mammobile criss-crosses the roads of the Eure to get as close as possible to the population. Women thus benefit from a full medical environment in a familiar setting to encourage them to get tested.
Indeed, the design of the mobile unit is thought to provide more reassuring and personal atmosphere than the one offered by hospitals. And, to welcome patients in the best conditions, this mammography mobile unit is equipped with all the necessary comfort.
