toutenkamion leans on its know-how, skills, technologies and quality of its composite constructions to accompany IPEV staff (Paul Emile Victor French Polar Institute) during the extreme convoys they lead in Antarctica.

Another significant achievement has just left our workshops... a 15m long, 3.30m width realization to bring comfort and safety to IPEV staff during food supply raids in Antarctica from the coast to the Concordia station.

The delivery of these two brand new caravans, especially studied to brave freezing temperatures, confirms that toutenkamion composite panels well answer the extreme requirements of this sixth continent. The thickness of the panels manufactured in our workshops, is 100mm according to a complex elaboration process.

This life base caravan houses bunks, an infirmary, a radio area, a kitchen and a dining room for the 10 staff members. The energy caravan integrates the power generator, the workshop, water production point thanks to a melter, sanitary facilities and a shower.

toutenkamion validates once more its ability to design and manufacture mobile means exposed to extreme weather and unusual transportation conditions. Indeed, this caravan will be installed on a customized skid chassis manufactured in Australia. -FT/EA-
