Following in the footsteps of medical practices, pharmacies are gradually moving away from their traditional setting to reach out to a diverse range of patients, including those in remote areas.
Our client understood the potential of physically relocating the pharmacy and ordered not one but four mobile pharmacies to fight against pharmaceutical deserts, bring medicine sales closer to the population, maintain a local presence and guarantee access to healthcare in rural or isolated areas.
These four mobile pharmacies, based on Mercedes SPRINTER 5T vehicles, were designed and manufactured identically.
Pharmaceutical mobility: optimized and functional fittings in mobile pharmacies
The mobile pharmacy includes all the necessary storage space to transport large quantities of medicines as close as possible to the population:
- On the lower section,
- 103 drawers that close automatically when pushed in, with key locking for each drawer or column
- A retractable tablet for preparing prescriptions
- On the upper section,
- Six cupboards with sliding doors
- One cupboard with hinged doors
- At the back on the left, a fridge/freezer
In the central aisle, an LED strip with variable intensity and color is installed at the top and bottom of the layout. There are also two air conditioners and a double-glazed skylight with a blind.

Please note: mobile units have electrical autonomy thanks to an on-board generator. This allows the air conditioning and refrigerator to run continuously to avoid breaking the cold chain, which is essential for the preservation of certain medicines and vaccines.
