Inauguration on September 9, 2016 in Ouagadougou, with the Minister of Health Dr Smaïla Ouédraogo, of a mobile ophthalmology unit totally financed by LONAB and offered to the National Centre for blindness prevention.
This unit is equipped with highly performing equipment in terms of screening and care.
The objective of the National Centre being to reach 3000 cataract operations per year.
This unit is fully self-sufficient and adapted to efficient actions in the most remote areas of the country.
